Hello,
When I think back to the people who have influenced my style and taste over the years - the first person whom comes to my mind is Lyn Gardener of Empire Vintage.
As a young lady I first came across Lyn's work in a Marie Claire magazine before I got married. I remember cutting out all the lovely images of her homes as I was truly inspired by her style and detail in her work. An old mattress factory was purchased by Lyn and remodeled into a beautiful and romantic space. Other spaces which have been featured in magazines include her Fitzroy home and Daylesford Property - 'The White House' which is available to rent - although heavily booked!!!

Lyn Gardener
The shop has recently had a mini makeover within and looks amazing with dark chocolate shelves.
Have you heard of her?
Many people have blogged about her - and of course you will see the reason why...She is an amazing lady whom I was very fortunate to meet when I went into her shop one day with my two little boys not expecting to see her there and yet there she was!
A beautiful collection of bowls, jugs, cake stands makes such a lovely picture.
Image above and below are the same room - the above image was one I originally remembered as a young girl and now it has changed with the times...beautiful either way!!!
I love homewares...an amazing collection and Lyn really taught me that styling with lots of the same thing makes huge impact...Martha Stewart does a good job of this too.
A collection of vintage mirrors on a painted brick wall makes the space look so enchanting.
The White House - Daylesford
Are you in love? Such gorgeous rooms that Lyn creates. She really understands how to build and tell a story.
